Matric

Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology or equivalent

Registered with the National Council of Science of South Africa

Competent Person accreditation as defined by SAMREC and SEC guidelines

Strata Control Certificate

Rock Mechanics, Hard Rock Paper 1, 2, and 3.1 qualification

Certificate in 5G mining/Digital mining operation compulsory

Postgraduate degree in relevant technical discipline an advantage

Min 10 years experience as a Geologist in a hard rock gold/platinum mining environment

English proficient

Mandarin proficient preferred

Computer literate

Knowledge of PGM exploration and mining geology

Drillin contract management

Conduct benchmarking both within the Group and against industry-leading practices

Excellent knowledge of 5G mining

Able to set target, deadlines and within the time constraints
