Purpose of the Role
Financial managers are responsible for the financial health of an organization. They produce financial reports, direct investment activities, and develop strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of their organization. Financial managers assistant in making financial decisions.
Scope/Span of Control
To report directly to the Managing Director.
Maintain very close interactions with suppliers and service providers and interact with internal customers at levels in functional area of responsibility.
Ensures all policies and rules are being followed.
Key Functions, Responsibilities and Duties
    • Collect, interpret, and review financial information.
    • Forecast future financial trends.
    • Notify management and stakeholders and provide advice on the company and future business decisions that may be affected.
    • Prepare and budget, accounts payable, and receivables, expenses, etc.
    • Develop long-term business plans based on these reports.
    • Review, monitor and manage budgets.
    • Develop strategies to effectively reduce financial risks.
    • Analyse market trends and competitors.
    • Manage cash flow in accounting software.
    • General leisure processing.
    • Weekly payments.  
    • Check debtors and creditors.
    • VAT/tax/payment declaration.
    • Preparation of audit documents.

Qualification And Experience
    • Grade 12
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Financial Manger role  
    • Degree in Accounting
