Position Objective / Job Statement
 
Our Client base in Silverton is looking for a Sequencing Logistician Team Leader which will be responsible for the supervision of staff involved with sequencing. Supervision will include the full span of: – problem solving, tracking & measurements, achieving the planned sequencing volume & quality. Motivating subordinates and enforcing discipline to adhere to OHS & related policies.

Safety
 
    • Maintain an acute awareness of safety situations amongst subordinates and adhere to all safety regulations.

    • Subordinates are trained to achieve all quality standards in their assembly activities.

    • Communication and control of work requirements on a day to day basis

    • Subordinates are actively motivated to strive toward improving their functional environment.
 
Requirements and Experience
 
Education  
 
    • National Senior Certificate with Maths & Science, Engineering Drawings and English Language.  
 
Experience
 
    • Minimum 4 years as a team leader
    • Knowledge of process sheets
    • Knowledge of basic OHS and relevant regulations
    • Ability to build an effective team spirit
    • Manual dexterity to step in for team members when necessary
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Supply systems
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Quality systems
    • Teaching/ training skills to enhance end maintain team competencies.
    • Proficient in MS Office and Outlook
