Position Objective / Job Statement
 
Our Client based in Pretoria Silverton is looking for an Assembly Logistician to effectively and efficiently be responsible for all assembling of mirrors. This is to be achieved through retrieving the correct trolley, assembling the parts and moving to the relevant outbound trolley.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Safety
 
    • Maintain an acute awareness of safety situations and adhere to all safety regulations.
 
Part identification  
 
    • Selecting the correct part for sequencing as per the process sheet
 
Quality
 
    • Zero flow out of defects
 
 
 
Volume
 
    • Meet the target volume output
 
Waste
 
    • Eliminate waste by adhering strictly to the standard operating procedures.
 
Continuous Improvements
 
    • Identification of potential improvements.
 
Process Sheet Adherence
 
    • No deviation from standard operating sequence.
 
Requirements and Experience
 
Education
 
    • Minimum: National Senior Certificate or equivalent
    • Ideal:  National Senior Certificate or equivalent with Maths & Science
    • Minimum 2 years assembly
    • Specific job-related knowledge and skills required
    • Experience in similar position within any other industrial or engineering setting where;
